ForestSouth, LLC is a forestry consulting firm located in Brandon, MS that covers most of the Southeastern states.  We offer services to a broad range of clients from non-industrial private landowners to timber investment management organizations (TIMOs).  Many of our services include but are not limited to timber appraisals, timber sales, land management plans, wildlife management plans, timber inventories, acquisition cruises, GPS work, and data workups. We have just recently added the ability to buy and sell land making ForestSouth,LLC your "one stop shop" for land and timber needs!

ForestSouth, LLC is owned and managed by Ryan Ramsey.  Ryan has been a registered forester for over 21 years.  He graduated from Mississippi State University with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Management. Ryan grew up in Clinton, MS, but he spends most of his time outdoors hunting, fishing, or enjoying time with family. He is a member of Mississippi Forestry Association (MFA), Society of American Foresters (SAF), and he currently serves as the Chairman of the Mississippi Chapter of Association of Consulting Foresters (ACF).  Having served as the Vice President and President of the Rankin County Forestry Association and Chairman of the Capitol Chapter of Mississippi SAF, he is well versed in the MS land and timber market across the state.
     As a registered forester in MS and AL, Ryan maintains 16 hours of continuing education every two years.  This helps to serve as a guarantee that ForestSouth,LLC is current with the ever changing timber industry and market.
